September 10, 2009 - Of the great body of whimsy upon which liberalism is based, the most amusing is their abiding faith in their own intellectual superiority. Only they grasp the nuance, the subtlety, the swirling watercolor of modern life. The rest of us see the world in black and white. Should their hubris ever flag, they need only remind themselves of the many “intellectuals” who are liberal: Professors! Artists! Europeans!
